1. If the unit is placed outdoors, snow prevention measures need to be taken to prevent snow accumulation from causing malfunctions or hindering normal operation.
2. Preventing low temperature effects: Low temperature has a significant impact on the operation of the generator set and insulation measures need to be taken. For example, using insulation sleeves and curtains to prevent excessive cooling of diesel engines, or using the Huaquan Electric Container Power Station, which integrates temperature control, heating, and warming systems internally to provide a suitable temperature environment for the unit.
3. Choose the appropriate oil: In low-temperature environments, specialized types of oil are required. For example, choosing a diesel grade and oil viscosity grade suitable for the local temperature, and using antifreeze instead of cooling water. Huaquan power generator sets come with corresponding antifreeze, which can be directly added to the unit when purchased.
4. Preheating and idling: In low-temperature environments, the generator set needs to be preheated. Diesel has high viscosity and low fluidity. Insufficient preheating can affect diesel atomization, resulting in poor combustion efficiency and even engine damage. When the unit is first started, it should be idle for a period of time to allow the oil to fully lubricate the components, avoiding immediate load operation to reduce wear and prolong service life.
5. Ventilation and prevention of carbon monoxide poisoning: The generator set generates heat during operation, and poor ventilation may cause overheating or carbon monoxide accumulation. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the unit has sufficient ventilation, especially when used in a closed environment.
